FAQ
You service all types of memorials?
Yes. We will service mausoleums, gravesites with vertical and “flat” headstones, metal or stone. We even service none gravesite memorials as needed!

You work all year long?
Yes. Unlike most climates the winter is the most important time to maintain a memorial in Arizona. The winter grass seed, soil prep and extra watering during seeding causes the most damage to the memorial over time. It is important to clean fertilizer, soil and water stains off the memorial before the summer sun is out.

Doesn’t the cemetery maintain my site for me?
Most cemeteries will cut the grass and trim. They do not polish the memorial, trim with care, place flowers, individually ensure grass is growing adequately around each memorial etc. The personalized care that Memorial Caretakers provides is far above what a cemetery maintenance crew could hope to dedicate to each loved one. Sometimes the most important service we provide is notifying the loved ones when a memorial is sinking and in danger of cracking. This is easily remedied by resetting the memorial and can save the entire memorial from needing replacement if noticed by us.

Isn’t it a disservice to my loved one to have someone else maintain the site?
We don’t believe so in fact we believe that by providing custom care for your loved one is the most loving tribute you can pay after the final resting place has been determined. You have taken the time to personally pick a headstone, person tribute to your loved one and it is only fitting to maintain it with the best care. Our service makes your visits easier and more pleasant assuring you that when you do visit, as often as you are able, the memorial will be in the best shape possible. Call ahead if you like to ensure we can maintain your loved ones site within days of your visit if you like!
